One Direction merupakan  boyband  pria asal Inggris - Irlandia yang terbentuk di London pada tahun 2010. Grup ini beranggotakan Niall Horan , Zayn Malik , Liam Payne, Harry Styles dan Louis Tomlinson. One Direction dikontrak oleh Syco Records, label rekaman milik Simon Cowell, setelah menjadi juara ketiga dalam ajang pencarian bakat The X Factor  musim ke-7 pada tahun 2010. Setelah sukses di Inggris , One Direction kemudian dikontrak oleh label rekaman asal Amerika Utara, Columbia Records  pada tahun 2011.

1)  Louis Tomlinson

 Louis William Tomlinson lahir pada 24 Desember 1991 di South Yorkshire, Inggris. Ibunya bernama Johannah Poulston dan Ayahnya bernama Troy Austin. Orang tuanya bercerai saat ia masih anak-anak dan ibunya menikah lagi dengan Mark Tomlinson. Louis memiliki 5 adik yaitu, Georgia Austin, Charlotte, Felicite, serta si kembar Daisy dan Phoebe Tomlinson.

Sebelum mengikuti audisi The X Factor musim ke 7 pada 2010, Liam pernah mengikuti audisi The X Factor musim ke 5 pada 2008 saat ia masih berusia 14 tahun. Namun juri mengatakan bahwa ia belum siap dan memintanya untuk berlatih lagi. Liam merupakan mahasiswa City Of Wolverhampton College jurusan teknologi musik. Zain Javvad Malik atau biasa disebut Zyn Malik lahir pada 12 Januari 1993 di   Lane Baildon, Bradford, UK. Ayahnya bernama Yasser berdarah Inggris-Pakistan dan Ibunya Tricia Malik berdarah Inggris. Ia memiliki 3 saudara perempuan yaitu Doniya, Waliyha, dan Saffaa.

Saat mengikuti audisi The X Factor, Zayn Malik mengaku bahwa ia ingin mencari pengalaman saja. Ia sangat menyukai genre musik R&B atau rap. Zayn malik adalah salah satu anggora One Direction yang beragama islam. Dalam Twitter ia pernah men-tweet berisis kalimat syahadat sebagai bukti bahwa ia adalah seorang muslim yang taat.
